Center patch over cutout panel.
Drill through panel face sheet using pre-drilled holes in patch as guide. Sheet fasteners may be used to secure patch
temporarily in place while drilling. If sheet fasteners are not available, drill holes using no. 30 (0.1285 in.) drill and
insert 1/8 in. (3.18 mm) diameter rivet in each drilled panel hole to keep patch from changing position or slipping.
Do not pull or install rivets permanently.
Remove patch. Remove all burrs from drilled holes.
Prepare bonding surface of panel face sheet by sanding until oxide film is removed and bright surface is exposed.
If punctured or gouged area in panel is surrounded by extended cracks, stop drill all cracks using no. 30 drill.
Fill cavity panel using dent filler, Devcon F.
After dent filler material has hardened, sand material flush with panel face surface.
