WARNING
DO NOT smoke or permit any open flame in area of machine while you are servicing fuel system. Be
sure hose nozzle is grounded against filler tube during refueling to prevent static electricity. Failure to
follow this warning may result in injury or equipment damage.
DO NOT perform fuel system checks, inspections or maintenance while smoking or near fire, flames or
sparks. Fuel may ignite, causing damage to machine and injury or death.
REMOVAL
CAUTION
Wipe area clean around all connections to be opened during removal and disassembly. Cap lines and
plug openings after removing lines. Contamination of fuel system could result in premature failure.
The fuel injection nozzles can be permanently damaged by twisting if only one wrench is used to loosen
the fuel line nuts. Use one wrench to hold the nozzle and another to loosen the nut.
Use two line wrenches to loosen fuel lines. Failure to do so may result in damage to lines.
