REMOVAL - CONTINUED
The following two steps are for hitch hose assembly that connects to the left side steering cylinder hose.
Hitch hose assembly that connects to the right side is identical.
Remove four capscrews (66), washers (67) and two flange halves (68) on hose assembly (60).
Remove hose assembly (60) and preformed packing (69) from hitch. Discard preformed packing.

CLEANING AND INSPECTION
Solvent cleaning compound MIL-PRF-680 Type III is an environmentally compliant and low toxic
material. However, it may be irritating to the eyes and skin. Use protective gloves and goggles. Use in
well-ventilated areas. Keep away from open flames and other sources of ignition.
Particles blown by compressed air are hazardous. DO NOT exceed 15 psi (103 kPa) nozzle pressure
when drying parts with compressed air. Use a maximum of 30 psi (207 kPa) when cleaning compo-
nents. DO NOT direct compressed air against human skin. Failure to follow this warning may result in
injury or death. Make sure air stream is directed away from user and other personnel in the area. To pre-
vent injury, user must wear eye protection.
Remove all preformed packing and seal material from mounting surfaces.
Clean all parts with solvent.
Dry all parts with compressed air.
Inspect all parts for damage and replace as necessary.
Install new preformed packing (69) and position hose assembly (60) on hitch.
Install two flange halves (68), four washers (67) and capscrews (66) on hose assembly (60).
Install two clamp halves (62), capscrew (65), washer (64) and nut (63) on hitch.
Install two clamp halves (59), capscrew (58), washer (57) and nut (56) on hitch.
