nozzles, replace fuel injection pump as
necessary (WP 0273 00).

blockage from nozzle-to-pump fuel line
or replace nozzle for suspect cylinder
(WP 0272 00).
3. If pressures are OK, go to Test 8.

Check fuel injection timing (WP 0274

Check fuel pressure at fuel injector
1. If fuel pressure is below 30 psi (207
housing inlet. Pressure must be at least
kPa), replace primary fuel filter (WP
30 psi (207 kPa).
2. If fuel pressure is STILL below 30 psi
(207 kPa), replace fuel transfer pump
(WP 0275 00).
3. If pressure is OK, go to Test 10.
10. Check valve clearance.
1. Adjust valve clearance (WP 0265 00).
2. If problem still exists, replace
turbocharger (WP 0276 00).
