Oil Level
If engine must be left running, do not work in area of hitch link
Check
unless cab is NOT occupied. Inadvertent steering wheel movement
will cause changes in clearances in hitch area. Serious injury or death
to personnel could result.
Check level of differential oil as fol-
lows:
a. Clean area around sight gage and
fill cap.
b. Perform hot check of differential oil
level with the engine idling and oil
at operating temperature. Oil level
must be at full line on sight gage.
c. Add oil (Item 12, 13, or 14, WP
0023 00) as required through filler
opening. Do NOT overfill. Reinstall
fill cap.
