SCRAPER AIR BRAKE REPLAY VALVE REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL - CONTINUED
1.
Disconnect four hose assemblies (2).
2.
Remove two bolts (6) and washers (7).
3.
Remove relay valve assembly (8) from machine.
4.
If damaged, remove three adapters (1) and pipe bushings (4) from relay valve (8).
5.
If damaged, remove elbow (3) from relay valve (8).
6.
If damaged, remove two pipe plugs (5) from relay valve (8).

INSTALLATION
NOTE
Apply anti-seizing tape half way up the threads of all hose and fitting connections prior to installation to
ensure correct sealing.
1.
If removed, install two pipe plugs (5) in relay valve (8).
2.
If removed, install elbow (3) in relay valve (8).
3.
If removed, install three pipe bushings (4) and adapters (1) in relay valve (8).
4.
Install relay valve (8) two washers (7) and bolts (6) assembly on machine.
5.
Connect four hose assemblies (2).
6.
Operate engine until normal operating air pressure is reached (TM 5 3805-248-10).
7.
Shut down engine (TM 5 3805-248-10).
8.
Check for air system leaks.
