TRACTOR AIR BRAKE RELAY VALVE REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL - CONTINUED
1.
Disconnect four hose assemblies (5) from relay valve (4) assembly located at right, center of tractor.
2.
Remove two bolts (2) and washers (3).
3.
Remove relay valve (4) assembly from tractor.
4.
If damaged, remove four elbows (1) from relay valve (4).

INSTALLATION
NOTE
Apply anti-seizing tape halfway up the threads of all hose and fitting connections prior to installation to
ensure correct sealing.
1.
If removed, install four elbows (1) on relay valve (4).
2.
Install relay valve (4) assembly on right center of tractor.
3.
Install two washers (3) and bolts (2).
4.
Connect four hose assemblies (5) to relay valve (4) assembly.
5.
Operate engine until normal operating air pressure is reached (TM 5-3805-248-10).
6.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-248-10).
7.
Check for air system leaks.
