SCRAPER QUICK RELEASE AND HOLDING VALVE REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL - CONTINUED
1.
Disconnect three hose assemblies (1) from holding valve (6) in rear of machine.
2.
Remove two bolts (4) and washers (5).
3.
Remove holding valve assembly (6).
4.
If necessary, remove two adapters (3) and elbow (2) from holding valve (6).

INSTALLATION
NOTE
Apply anti-seizing tape halfway up the threads of all hose and fitting connections prior to installation to
ensure correct sealing.
1.
If removed, install elbow (2) and two adapters (3) in holding valve (6).
2.
Install holding valve (6) assembly on machine.
3.
Install two washers (5) and bolts (4).
4.
Connect three hose assemblies (1).
5.
Operate engine until normal operating air pressure is reached (TM 5-3805-248-10).
6.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-248-10).
7.
Check for air system leaks.
