Use assistant to support brake control valve (2)

beneath operator compartment and remove six bolts
(6) and washers (7) and plate (8) from operator com-
partment floor.

Remove brake control valve (2) from beneath operator
compartment.

INSTALLATION
1.
With assistance, position brake control valve (2) from beneath operator compartment and install plate (8), six washers
(7) and bolts (6).
NOTE
Apply anti-seizing tape halfway up the threads of all hose and fitting connections prior to installation to
ensure correct sealing.
2.
Connect eight hose assemblies (1) to brake control valve (2) beneath operator compartment.
3.
Install brake pedal (5), two pins (4) and new cotter pins (3) inside operator compartment.
4.
Install stoplight switch (WP 0096 00).
5.
Install floor mat (WP 0198 00).
6.
Operate engine until normal operating air pressure is reached (TM 5-3805-248-10).
7.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-248-10).
8.
Check for air system leaks.
9.
Install step assembly (WP 0200 00).
