HOOD, BRACKETS AND MOUNTING REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

HOOD REMOVAL
1.
Remove four bolts (14) and eight washers (15) from angle assembly (16) at top right side of engine compartment.
2.
Unlatch three latch assemblies (3) on hood (1).
3.
Attach lifting device to hood (1).
4.
With assistance, use lifting device to remove hood (1).
5.
Remove lifting device.
6.
If necessary, drill out nine rivets (4), remove three latch assemblies (3) and plates (2) from hood (1). Discard rivets.

HOOD BRACKETS AND MOUNTING REMOVAL
1.
Remove four bolts (18) and eight washers (17) from angle assembly (16) at top right side of engine compartment.
2.
Remove angle assembly (16).
3.
Remove two nuts (13), washers (12), bolts (7), washer (6) and grommets (5) from support (8). Discard grommets.
4.
Remove bracket (11) from support (8).
5.
Remove two bolts (9), washers (10) and support (8).
