Install clamp (18), two washers (17) and bolts (16) to under side of hitch.
20.
Install four new preformed packings (4) and connect four hose assemblies (15) to tube assemblies (14).
21.
Install eight flange halves (3), 16 washers (2) and capscrews (1).
22.
Install clamp (9), two washers (11) and bolts (10) to hitch.
23.
Install four new preformed packings (8) and connect four hose assemblies (13) to tube assemblies (12).
24.
Install eight flange halves (7), 16 washers (6) and capscrews (5).

Refill hydraulic tank on right, front of vehicle to proper level (TM 5-3805-248-10).

Start engine (TM 5-3805-248-10).
NOTE
Perform the next step only if steering tube assemblies were removed.

WARNING
Only a qualified operator may perform the following procedure. All other personnel must clear the immedi-
ate area of the vehicle. Failure to follow this procedure may cause injury.
NOTE
If hose or tube assemblies were removed from a certain system, such as the ejector, operate only the ejector
control. If hose or tube assemblies were removed from all systems, operate all the controls to complete the
next procedure.
28.
Operate hydraulic bowl controls. Move each system through at least five full movements of travel to bleed air out of
system.
29.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-248-10).
30.
Check oil level in hydraulic tank and add oil as necessary. (TM 5-3805-248-10).
31.
Inspect all hose and tube assemblies for leaks (TM 5-3805-248-10).
