OIL PRESSURE GAGE REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
1.
Remove two screws (10) and lockwashers (11) from oil pressure switch (1). Discard lockwashers.
NOTE
Tag all wire connectors prior to removal to ensure correct installation.
2.
Disconnect two wire connectors (12) from oil pressure switch (1).
3.
Remove oil pressure switch (1) and elbow (2) from oil pressure gage (3).
CAUTION
Wipe area clean around all connections prior to removal. Cap hydraulic oil lines and plug openings after dis-
connecting hose assembly. Contamination of system could result in premature failure.
4.
Disconnect hose assembly (13) from elbow (8).
5.
Remove elbow (8) and tee (9) from oil pressure gage (3).
6.
Remove two nuts (5), washers (6), bracket (7) and oil pressure gage (3) from instrument panel (4).

INSTALLATION
1.
Position oil pressure gage (3) on instrument panel (4) and install bracket (7) with two washers (6) and nuts (5).
2.
Install tee (9) and elbow (8) on oil pressure gage (3).
3.
Connect hose assembly (13) to elbow (8).
4.
Install elbow (2) and oil pressure switch (1) on oil pressure gage (3).
5.
Install two wire connectors (12) on oil pressure switch (1).
6.
Install two new lockwashers (11) and screws (10) on oil pressure switch (1).
7.
Operate engine and verify correct operation of engine oil pressure gage (TM 5-3805-248-10).
