Inspect the bearings.2.A small amount of abrasion or pitting is permissibleReplace the bearing if worn enough to allow excess endplay. Replace the bearing if it is badly pitted or bruised.Replace it if grooves appear in the roller or races. Abearing that is only corroded or stained can be used if itcan be cleaned with fine emery cloth.3.Pack the rollers, forcing grease between them.2-47
