Clean the areaaround the Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve.10.Bring the coolant level to within 1/2 inch (1 cm) ofthe bottom of the fill pipe.11.Start the engine with the radiator cap off. Addcoolant, if necessary, when the level stabilizes.12.Stop the engine. Replace the radiator cap if theseal is damaged. Install the radiator cap. Re-install bellypan.2.Remove the cover. Remove the spring 1 pistonassembly 2 and sleeve 3 . See below.3.Disassemble the piston assembly 2 . discard the diaphram 4 . Wash all parts in clean non-flammable solvent.Replace any parts, or the gasket 5 , if damaged. Assemble the piston assembly 2 . Use a new diaphram 4 . Coat bothflange sides of the diaphram 4 and both sides of the gasket 5 , with gasket cement. Install the valve parts in the housing6 . Install the cover.2-50
