Center patch over cutout in panel making certain patch fits flush in cutout.
j.
Drill through panel face sheet using predrilled holes in patch as guide. Use 1/8 in. (3.18 mm) sheet fastener to
secure patch temporarily in place while drilling.
k.
Remove patch and remove all burrs from drilled holes.
l.
Cut section of new core material to fit snugly in core cutout.
m.
Prepare bonding surfaces of face sheet patch by sanding until oxide film is removed and bright surface is
exposed.

tions. Use only with adequate ventilation and with approved personal protective equipment. Failure to
follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
n. Wipe surfaces with clean cloth soaked in Dowclene EC and immediately wipe solvent from surface with clean
cloth. Wear gloves to avoid contaminating surfaces with dirt, oil or fingerprints.
