BASIC ISSUE ITEMS (BII) LIST
SCOPE
This work package lists the BII for the scraper, to help inventory items required for safe and efficient operation.
GENERAL
The following BII list is the minimum essential items required to place the machine in operation, to operate it, and to per-
form emergency repairs. Although shipped separately packaged, BII must be with the machine during operation and whenever
it is transferred between property accounts. This manual is your authority to request/requisition replacement BII, based on
TOE/MTOE authorization of end item. Illustrations are furnished to assist you in identifying the items.
EXPLANATION OF COLUMNS
Below is an explanation of columns found in the tabular listings:
1.
Column (1) - Illustration Number (Illus Number). This column indicates the number of the illustration that shows the
item.
2.
Column (2) - National Stock Number. Indicates the National Stock Number (NSN) assigned to the item and used for
requisitioning purposes.
3.
Column (3) - Description, CAGEC, and Part Number. Indicates the Federal item name (in all capital letters) and, if
required, a minimum description in parentheses to identify and locate the item. The entry for each item ends with the
Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGEC) in parentheses followed by the part number.
4.
Column (4) - Usable on Code. Indicates a code if the item needed is not the same for different models of equipment.
Usable on Code is not applicable to the scraper.
5.
Column (5) - Unit of Measure (U/M). Indicates how the item is issued for the National Stock Number shown in Column
(2).
6.
Column (6) - Quantity Required (Qty Rqd). Indicates the quantity of the item required.
