Check for voltage to stoplamp switch.

Service Stop/Tail Lights
Are Inoperative -
Continued.
a. Place battery disconnect switch in
OFF position (TM 5-3805-248-10).
b. Set multimeter to appropriate
voltage range (WP 0018 00).
c. Connect multimeter positive lead to
green wire of stoplamp switch and
multimeter negative lead to chassis
ground.

d. Place battery disconnect switch in
ON position (TM 5-3805-248-10).
e. Place light switch in SER DRIVE
1. If battery voltage is not indicated, repair
position.
open circuit between stoplamp switch
and light switch (WP 0018 00).
2. If battery voltage is indicated, go to Test
4.
