ALTERNATOR GROUND WIRE REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
1.
Remove bolt (4) and lockwasher (5). Discard lockwasher.
2.
Disconnect wire (3) to alternator and operator compartment.
3.
Remove lockwasher (2), capacitor (1) and lockwasher (6). Discard lockwashers.
4.
Remove bolt (7), washer (8), clip (9) and wire (3).

INSTALLATION
1.
Position wire (3) and install clip (9), washer (8) and bolt (7).
2.
Install new lockwasher (6), capacitor (1) and new lockwasher (2) on alternator.
3.
Connect wire (3) to alternator and cab.
4.
Install new lockwasher (5) and bolt (4).
5.
Connect battery cables (WP 0104 00).
6.
Verify correct charging operation (WP 0009 00).
7.
Install engine compartment access doors (WP 0190 00).
