SCRAPER AIR BRAKE ACTUATOR LINES AND FITTINGS REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

NOTE
Note the routing and position of the hoses, any retaining hardware, and tie straps prior to removal to ensure
correct installation.
7.
Trace routing of four hose assemblies and remove all retaining hardware and tie straps.
8.
Remove four scraper air brake actuator hoses from machine.

INSTALLATION
NOTE
Apply anti-seizing tape half way up the threads of all hose and fitting connections prior to installation to
ensure correct sealing.
1.
If removed, install fittings on air brake actuators (WP 0151 00).
2.
If removed, install fittings on scraper air brake relay valve (WP 0160 00).
3.
If removed, install fittings on quick release and holding valve (WP 0157 00).
4.
Position four scraper air brake actuators hoses on machine.
5.
Connect four scraper air brake actuator hoses to scraper air brake actuators (WP 0151 00).
6.
Connect other end of two scraper air brake actuator hoses to quick release and holding valve (WP 0157 00).
7.
Connect other end of two scraper air brake actuator hoses to scraper air brake relay valve (WP 0160 00).
8.
Install all retaining hardware and new tie straps.
9.
Operate engine until normal operating air pressure is reached (TM 5-3805-248-10).
10.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-248-10).
11.
Check for air system leaks.
