NOTE
Note the routing and position of the hoses, any retaining hardware, and tie straps prior to removal to ensure
correct installation.

Trace routing of six hose assemblies and remove all retaining hardware and tie straps.
13.
Remove six hoses from machine.
INSTALLATION
CAUTION
Do NOT use anti-seizing tape on oil line connections. Use sealing compound instead. Anti-seizing tape can
deteriorate and contaminate the oil system causing premature failure.
NOTE
Apply anti-seizing tape half way up the threads of all AIR AND COOLANT hose and fitting connec-
tions prior to installation to ensure correct sealing.
Apply sealing compound to the threads of all OIL hose and fitting connections prior to installation to
ensure correct sealing.

Position six hoses on machine.

If removed, install fittings on cylinder head or cylinder block.

If removed, install fittings on coolant filter housing (WP 0051 00).

If removed, install elbow (1) on aftercooler.
7.
Connect hose assemblies (2, 3, 4, 5, and 6) to compressor.

Connect hose assembly (6) to coolant filter housing (WP 0051 00).

Connect other end of hose assembly (5) to cylinder head.

Connect two hose assemblies (3) to cylinder block.
12.
Connect hose assembly (2) to elbow (1).
13.
Install all retaining hardware and new tie straps.

Operate engine until normal operating air pressure is reached (TM 5-3805-248-10).
17.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-248-10).
18.
Inspect hose assemblies and connections for oil, coolant or air leaks.
