Remove four capscrews (61), washers (62), two flange halves (64), hose assembly (63) and preformed packing (65)
from steering cylinder. Discard preformed packings.
NOTE
Repeat step for other steering cylinder.
The following is a maintenance procedure for the right steering cylinder assembly. The maintenance
procedure for the left steering cylinder assembly is identical.

INSTALLATION
NOTE
Lightly coat all new preformed packings with clean oil prior to installation.
1.
Install two preformed packing (65), hose assembly (63) two flange halves (64) four washers (62), and capscrews (61) on
steering cylinder.
2.
If removed, install two plugs (60) on connectors (59).
3.
Install 10 new preformed packings (56).
4.
Install two connectors (59), hose assemblies (58), tube assemblies (52) and brackets (55).
5.
Install 16 flange halves (57), 40 washers (54) and bolts (53).
6.
Install hose assembly (17) on machine.
7.
Install two new preformed packings (50), tube assembly (51) and four flange halves (49), eight washers (48) and cap-
screws (47).
