SLIDING WINDOW ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

DISASSEMBLY
1.
Remove two screws (1) and stop (2) from sliding window (3).
2.
Remove two screws (4) and handle (5) from sliding window (3).
3.
If damaged, remove screws (6 and 7) and center support (8) from frame (10).
ASSEMBLY
1.
If removed, install center support (8) and screws (6 and 7) on frame (10).
2.
Install handle (5) and two screws (4) on sliding window assembly (3).
3.
Install stop (2) and two screws (1) on frame (10) installation.
4.
If removed, install new seal (9) on operator compartment.
5.
Pull tab B out to open slot for window frame. Lubricate frame slot with detergent and water solution. Install sliding win-
dow assembly (3).
6.
Install tab A into tab B by pushing down on tab A and working all the way around seal.
7.
Open and close sliding window to verify correct operation (TM 5-3805-248-10).
