CLEANING AND INSPECTION
WARNING
Solvent cleaning compound MIL-PRF-680 Type III is an environmentally compliant and low toxic
material. However, it may be irritating to the eyes and skin. Use of protective gloves and goggles. Use
in well-ventilated areas. Keep away from open flames and other sources of ignition.
Particles blown by compressed air are hazardous. DO NOT exceed 15 psi (103 kPa) nozzle pressure
when drying parts with compressed air. Use a maximum of 30 psi (207 kPa) when cleaning compo-
nents. DO NOT direct compressed air against human skin. Failure to follow this warning may result in
serious injury or death. Make sure air stream is directed away from user and other personnel in the area.
To prevent injury, user must wear protective goggles or face shield.
1.
Remove all gasket material from mounting surfaces.
2.
Clean all parts with solvent.
3.
Dry all parts with compressed air.
4.
Inspect all parts for damage and replace as necessary.
INSTALLATION
1.
Install motor assembly (2) in bracket (21) on inside of operator compartment.
2.
Install three washers (22) and bolts (23) in bracket (21). Torque bolts to 49 lb-in. (5.5 Nm).
3.
Install drive shaft assembly (11) in bracket (21).
4.
Install four screws (28) and torque to 54 lb-in. (6.1 Nm).
NOTE
Align crank with mark made during removal to ensure correct installation.
5.
Install crank (24) on motor assembly (2).

6.
Install spring tension washer (25) and nut (26). Torque
nut to 120 lb-in. (14 Nm).

Install connecting link (27) on drive shaft assembly

(11) and crank (24).
