Align splines on driveshaft (9) with splines in transmission (3) and position driveshaft in transmission.

Install alignment tool (17) in bore of flywheel housing (1).
CAUTION
Engine and transmission must be aligned before installing driveshaft. Failure to follow this caution may
result in damage to equipment.

Rotate alignment tool (17) 360 degrees clockwise and counterclockwise. If alignment tool turns freely, go to step 13.
4.
Position alignment tool (17) equal distance between two points where resistance is felt. Arrow on alignment tool indi-
cates direction engine must be turned to align engine and driveshaft (9).
