Eye protection must be worn when performing maintenance where components or particles could fly
out during procedure. Failure to take precautions may cause injury.
Some components are under spring tension. Wear eye protection and use extreme caution when disas-
sembling them to avoid injury.

Remove plug (72) from valve body (4) carefully because of spring (75) pressure.

Remove preformed packing (73), back-up ring (79) and preformed packing (78) from plug (72). Discard back-up ring
only.
46.
Remove retainer (74) and spring (75).
47.
Remove valve spool (77).
48.
Remove setscrew (76) from valve spool (77).
