Before Starting the Engine
Operator Checks
1.
Check the engine crankcase oil level. The level
should be between the ADD and FULL marks on the
dipstick.
2.
Maintain the engine coolant level to within 1 cm (1/2
inch)
of
the
bottom
of
the
fill
pipe.
3.
Drain the water from the water separator. Open
drain valve 1 and vent valve 2. Allow the water to drain.
Close the valves.
4.
Open the three air tank drain valves. Allow moisture
and sediment to drain. Close the valves.
5.
When red band in the indicator is visible, have the air
cleaner serviced.
6.
When the dust level reaches the full mark in the air
intake precleaner, remove for cleaning/service.
