Stopping the Machine

Pull the button out to apply the
parking brake.

Move the machine to a safe, level
location. Use the retarder and service
brakes to stop the machine.
Stopping the Engine
CAUTION
Stopping the engine immediately after it has
been working under load, can result in over-
heating and accelerated wear of the engine
components. Follow the stopping procedure
outlined below, to allow the engine to cool. This
will also prevent excessive temperatures in the
turbocharger centerhousing, which would cause
oil coking problems.
