RADIATOR ASSEMBLY, SUPPORT ASSEMBLY AND MOUNTING DISASSEMBLY
WARNING
Radiator and support assembly must be placed on clean floor surface, fan side down. Wood blocks must
be placed in position to support radiator at top and bottom. Do not position radiator and support assem-
bly in an upright position. Failure to follow this procedure may cause injury.
Use caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during procedure.
Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy
parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death.
NOTE
Weight of radiator and support assembly is 1,000 lb (454 kg).
1.
Attach lifting device to headlight brackets. Attach at both sides of support assembly (30).
2.
Apply lift tension and take up slack.
WARNING
Do not remove lifting device after radiator and support assembly is placed in upright position. Lifting device
must stay in position to prevent radiator and support assembly from falling. Failure to follow this procedure
may cause injury.
3.
Position radiator and support assembly (30) upright.
Do not remove lifting device.
4.
Remove six bolts (34) and washers (33).
5.
Remove baffle assembly (35).
6.
Remove four bolts (37) and washers (38).
7.
Remove two bracket assembly (36).
