NOTE
All hose and tube assemblies must be tagged prior to removal to ensure correct installation.
1.
Close inlet valve (2) and outlet valve (1) on left front of engine.
2.
Remove and discard coolant filter (3).

INSTALLATION
CAUTION
Use a coolant condition element to treat plain water or antifreeze. Use precharge filter whenever coolant is
changed. Do not use both the liquid cooling system conditioner and the coolant conditioner element at the
same time.
1.
Lubricate new coolant filter (3) seal lightly with coolant.
2.
Install new coolant filter. Refer to PMCS (WP 0019 00) for correct filter element selection.
3.
Turn new coolant filter until seal seats with base assembly. Tighten an additional 3/4 turn.
4.
Open inlet valve (2) and outlet valve (1) on left front engine.
5.
Refill coolant (WP 0042 00).
6.
Install right side engine compartment access door (WP 0190 00).
