COOLANT TEMPERATURE GAGE AND CONVERTER/RETARDER
TEMPERATURE GAGE REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
WARNING
Ensure the battery cables are disconnected before replacing coolant temperature gage and converted retarder
gage. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or damage to equipment.
1.
Remove nut (3) and lockwasher (4). Discard lockwasher.
NOTE
Tag all wire connectors, cables and wiring harnesses prior to removal to ensure correct installation.
2.
Disconnect wire connector (5) from terminal post.
3.
Remove nut (11) and lockwasher (12). Discard lockwasher.
4.
Disconnect wire connector (13) from terminal post.
5.
Remove nut (14) and lockwasher (15). Discard lockwasher.
6.
Disconnect wire connector (16) from terminal post.
7.
Remove nut (1) and lockwasher (2). Discard lockwasher.
8.
Remove nut (9) and lockwasher (10). Discard lockwasher.
9.
Remove bracket (8).
10.
Remove coolant temperature gage (6) from inside operator compartment.
11.
Remove and discard seal (7).
