SERVICE STOP/TAIL LIGHT REPLACEMENT- CONTINUED

NOTE
Tag all wire connectors, cables and harnesses before disconnecting to ensure correct installation.
The following maintenance procedure is for the left service stop/tail light. The maintenance procedure
for the right service stop/tail light is identical.
SERVICE STOP/TAIL LIGHT LAMP REMOVAL
1.
Separate lens retainer (8) from tail light housing (4).
2.
Remove three screws (1). Disconnect three wires (2) from terminals on lamp (9).
3.
Remove lens retainer (8) from lamp (9).
SERVICE STOP/TAIL LIGHT LAMP INSTALLATION
1.
Install lens retainer (8) on lamp (9).
2.
Connect three wires (2) at terminals on lamp (9).
3.
Install lens retainer (8) on tail light housing (4).
4.
Install three screws (1).
5.
Verify correct operation of stop/tail lights (TM 5-3805-248-10).
