BATTERY CABLES REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
NOTE
Inspect batteries for corrosion, damage or signs of leaking. Clean or replace as necessary.
Tag all wire connectors, cables and wiring harnesses before disconnecting to ensure correct installation.
If referred here from another work package perform steps 1 through 6 only.
1.
Open battery cover.
2.
Remove nut (1) and bolt (3) from negative battery cable (2) on post of inner battery.
3.
Disconnect battery cable (2).
4.
Remove two nuts (9) and bolts (10) from battery cable (11).
5.
Remove battery cable (11).
6.
Remove nut (7) and bolt (8) from battery cable (4) on positive post of outer battery.
7.
Disconnect battery cable (4).
8.
Remove nut (5) and clamp (6) from center battery holddown bar.
