BACKUP ALARM SWITCH WIRING HARNESS REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
NOTE
Tag all wire connectors, cables and wiring harnesses before disconnecting to ensure correct installation.
1.
Disconnect backup alarm switch wiring harness (5) connector.
2.
Remove two capscrews (2) and clips (3).
3.
Remove grommet (1).
NOTE
Note routing of harness to ensure correct installation.
4.
Remove backup alarm switch wiring harness (5) and tube (4).
5.
Remove backup alarm switch wiring harness (5) from tube (4).

INSTALLATION
1.
Insert backup alarm switch wiring harness (5) in tube (4).
2.
Position tube (4) and backup alarm wiring harness (5) as an assembly on machine.
3.
Install grommet (1).
4.
Install two clips (2) and capscrews (3).
5.
Connect backup alarm switch wiring harness (5) connector.
6.
Install backup alarm switch (WP 0101 00).
7.
Connect battery cables (WP 0104 00).
8.
Verify correct operation of backup alarm (TM 5-3805-248-10).
