TRANSMISSION OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
NOTE
Use a container to capture draining oil. Dispose of oil IAW local policy and ordinances. Ensure all spills are
cleaned up.
1.
Remove plugs (1 and 6) and drain oil.
2.
Remove and discard seal (5) and preformed packing (9) from plugs (1 and 6).
3.
Remove six capscrews (2) and cover (3).
4.
Remove preformed packings (4 and 8) and filter element as an assembly. Discard preformed packings.
