AIR DRYER REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

INSTALLATION
NOTE
Apply anti-seizing tape halfway up the threads of all hose connections prior to installation to ensure correct
sealing.
1.
Install air dryer (1), four washers (4) and bolts (3).
2.
Install two elbows and coupling (11).
3.
Connect hose assembly (12) to air dryer (1).
4.
Install washer (9), connect wire connector (10) and install nut (8) on bottom of air dryer (1).
5.
Install clamp (6) loosely on hose (7).
6.
Connect hose (7) to air dryer (1).
7.
Tighten clamp (6).
8.
Connect two hose assemblies (5) to air dryer (1).
9.
Connect battery cables (WP 0104 00).
Operate machine and verify correct operation of park emergency brake (TM 5-3805-248-10).
10.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-248-10).

Check for air system leaks.
