Brakes
1.
Inspect the tractor brake pads for excessive wear.
(The brakes are self-adjusting).
2.
Inspect the scraper brake pads for excessive wear.
Have worn brake pads replaced.
To Test the Parking and Emergency Brakes
Be sure the machine area is free of personnel and
obstacles.
Fasten the seat belt.
Make needed repairs an any brake system before
operating the machine.
The machine must be on level ground. The bowl must
be lowered. Apply the parking brake.
Emergency Brake:
1.
Start the engine. Allow the air pressure to reach the
normal operating range.
2.
Pull the button to apply the emergency brake.
3.
Apply the service brake. Shift the transmission to
1st speed.
