Ensure square shoulder on injector body (8), injector rack stop pin (9), and rack head (10) are clean.

Synchronization gage block should always be attached with chain to injector synchronization fixture group.
This will prevent gage block from being accidentally left inside engine at end of procedure.

Install synchronization gage block (11).
