Remove tube (31) from elevator control valve (3).
Remove O-rings (30 and 32) and discard.

WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during proce-
dure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable lift capacity. Keep clear of
heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may result in death or injury to
personnel.
NOTE
Elevator control valve weighs 77 lb (35 kg).

Attach nylon sling and suitable lifting device to eleva-
tor control valve (3) remove two nuts (33), four wash-
ers (34), and two bolts (35) and elevator control valve
from machine.

If replacing elevator control valve (3), or if fittings are
damaged, remove fittings from control valve.
