Mark and cut replacement FRP panel to maximum
size of lap joint, cut back 2 in. (51 mm) to half the
thickness of the panel. Remove with chisel and sand
smooth. Check fit and make necessary adjustments.
8.
All replacement panels should be fitted with the flange on the inside for strength.
