Headlights Are All
Inoperative.
WARNING
Remove all jewelry, watch, rings, etc. prior to disconnecting cables from batter-
ies or other electrical source. Items can come in contact with battery or electrical
source and cause electrical shock. Failure to follow this warning may cause
injury or death.
Make sure wheels are chocked and bowl is lowered to ground for all tests. Fail-
ure to do so may cause injury or death.
Eye protection must be worn when performing maintenance where components
or particles could fly out during procedure. Failure to take precautions may
cause injury.
NOTE
For detailed electrical diagram, refer to WP 0005 00.

Check if back-up alarm and cutting-
1. If back-up alarm, cutting-edge
edge worklight are inoperative also.
worklight, low beams and high beams
are all inoperative, repair ground circuit
for relays located under operator
compartment (WP 0018 00).
2. If only headlights are inoperative, go to
Test 2.

Check for voltage to headlight relay.
a. Place battery disconnect switch in
OFF position (TM 5-3805-248-10).
b. Disconnect blue wire from headlight
relay (WP 0078 00).
c. Set multimeter to appropriate
voltage range (WP 0018 00).
