MALFUNCTION
TEST OR INSPECTION

10. Turn Signals Are

Check for continuity to turn signal
lamps.
Inoperative - Continued.
a. Place battery disconnect switch in
OFF position (TM 5-3805-248-10).
b. Disconnect turn signal switch
electrical connection (WP 0080 00).
c. Set multimeter to appropriate ohm
(Ω) range (WP 0018 00).
d. Connect multimeter positive lead to
yellow wire of turn signal switch
(harness side) and then to gray wire
of turn signal switch (harness side).
e. Connect meter negative lead to
chassis ground.
f. Place battery disconnect switch in

ON position (TM 5-3805-248-10).

turn signal lamps (WP 0018 00).
2. If continuity voltage is indicated, replace
turn signal switch (WP 0081 00).
11. One Lamp Is Inoperative.
WARNING
Remove all jewelry, watch, rings, etc. prior to disconnecting cables from batter-
ies or other electrical source. Items can come in contact with battery or electrical
source and cause electrical shock. Failure to follow this warning may cause
injury or death.
Make sure wheels are chocked and bowl is lowered to ground for all tests. Fail-
ure to do so may cause injury or death.
Eye protection must be worn when performing maintenance where components
or particles could fly out during procedure. Failure to take precautions may
cause injury.
NOTE
For detailed electrical diagram, refer to WP 0005 00.

Check for voltage at inoperative lamp
1. If battery voltage is not indicated, repair
