BRAKE SHOE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
WARNING
A dust mask is required when working on brake system. Follow the cleaning procedure in this task before
removal to prevent the possibility of airborne fibers. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or
death.
NOTE
The following maintenance procedure is for the left tractor brake. The replacement procedures for the other
brakes are identical.
1.
Remove spring (2) from left brake of tractor.
2.
Remove and discard lock wire (8) by cutting.
3.
Remove two bolts (9).
4.
Remove two lock springs (4).
5.
Remove two spacer rings (6) and felt washers (10). Discard felt washers.
