REMOVAL
WARNING
DO NOT smoke or permit any open flame in area of machine while you are servicing fuel system. Be
sure hose nozzle is grounded against filler tube during refueling to prevent static electricity. Failure to
follow this warning may result in injury to personnel or equipment damage.
DO NOT perform fuel system checks, inspections or maintenance while smoking or near fire, flames or
sparks. Fuel may ignite, causing damage to machine and injury or death to personnel.
Wear fuel-resistant gloves when handling fuels. If exposed to fuel, promptly wash exposed skin and
change fuel-soaked clothing.
Use caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during procedure.
Ensure that nay lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of
heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death.
NOTE
Fuel injection pump and governor assembly weighs 55 lb (25 kg).
1.
Disconnect fuel injection lines from housing (WP 0030 00).
2.
Disconnect linkage from governor (WP 0036 00).
