Re-move the bolts and cover (I) from timing gearcover (3).2. Loosen setscrew (4) and remove guide (5), reliefvalve spring and plunger.3. Remove inner rotor (6) and outer rotor (7) fromthe timing gear cover.4. Measure the inside diameter of bearing (8). Theinside diameter must be 2.804 .002 in. (71.220.05 mm). If a replacement of the bearing isneeded, put a mark on the timing gear cover as tothe location of the joint in the bearing and removethe bearing.3-124
