TM 5-3805-260-24SLIDING FLOOR CYLINDER6.Install seal assembly (8) and ring (7) on thepistons.7.Install tool (B) on the rod and slide the head (2)over tool (B) on to the rod.8.Install the piston and nut on the rod. Tighten thenut with tooling (C) to a torque of 1600 + 160 Ib.ft. (2160 + 219 Nm).9.Install the piston in the cylinder. Slide the headagainst the cylinder and install four bolts (9).NOTE: The rod must be fully extended when the boltsthat hold the head and retainer in position are tightened.This will keep the cylinder, piston and head in betteralignment with each other.10.Tighten the bolts that hold the head and retainer.11.Remove the cylinder from tooling (D).end by:install sliding floor cylinder.4-189/(4-190 Blank)
