TM 5-3805-260-24SLIDING FLOOR CYLINDERDISASSEMBLE SLIDING FLOORCYLINDERTools NeededAB1 P1784Hydraulic Cylinder Repair Stand15P3100Pump Group11 P850Torque Multiplier12P2265Mounting Assembly15S6079Socket1start by:a)remove sliding floor cylinder1.Fasten a hoist to the cylinder and put it inposition on tooling (A) with the openings for thehydraulic lines down and the rod extended to themaximum position.2.Remove four bolts (1) from the head of thecylinder.3.Remove rod (2),head and piston from thecylinder.4.Remove the nut from the rod with tooling (B).5.Remove piston (3) and head (4) from the rod.6.Remove ring (5) and seal assembly (6) frompiston (3).7.Remove bolts (7) from retainer (8). Remove theretainer and the shims. Keep the shims togetherfor installation.8.Remove seal (9) from the retainer.9.Remove packing (10) from head (11).4-187
