BRAKE CALIPER REMOVAL - CONTINUED

Remove two bolts from brake caliper (2) and install two links on caliper.
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during proce-
dure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of
heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may result in death or injury to
personnel.
3.
Attach nylon sling to links and suitable lifting device.
NOTE
Brake caliper weighs 90 lb (1 kg).

With assistance, remove eight screws (9), washers

(10), and brake caliper (2) from axle housing (11).
5.
If replacing brake caliper (2), remove links from cali-
per.

BRAKE CALIPER INSTALLATION
1.
If installing a new brake caliper (2), remove two bolts from caliper and install two links.
