MALFUNCTION

3. If inoperative in high speed only, go to

Check for voltage to wiper switch.
a. Place battery disconnect switch in
OFF position (TM 5-3805-248-10).
b. Set multimeter to appropriate
voltage range (WP 0018 00).
c. Disconnect wiper switch assembly
gray lead (WP 0063 00).
d. Connect multimeter positive lead to
gray wire of wiper switch (harness
side) and multimeter negative lead
to chassis ground.

e. Place battery disconnect switch in
1. If battery voltage is not indicated, repair
ON position (TM 5-3805-248-10).
open circuit between fuse box and wiper
switch (WP 0018 00).
2. If battery voltage is indicated, make sure
wiper motor has a good chassis ground
3. If problem still exists and battery
voltage is indicated, replace wiper
switch (WP 0063 00).
