start by:
a)
remove fuel injection pump housing and
governor
1.
Install the fuel injection pump housing on tool
(A).
NOTE: Tool (C) was installed in the groove (slot) in the
fuel injection pump camshaft when the fuel injection
pump housing and governor were removed.
2.
Remove bolts (2), housing assembly (1) and the
gasket from the fuel injection pump housing.
3.
Remove the two springs (4) and seat (3) from
the governor housing.
4.
Remove two bolts (7) that hold lever (10) to
shaft (6). Pull shaft (6) out of the governor
housing and remove washers (5) and lever (10).
5.
If necessary, remove bolt (9) from shaft (6) and
remove lever (8), spring (11) and the lever
assembly from the shaft.
6. Remove seal (12) from governor housing (1).
