Slide the motorout of the speed reducer and lower the motor overthe side of the bowl.3.Fasten a hoist to guard (4) and remove six bolts(5). Remove the guard.4.Fasten a hoist to the elevator frame. Fasten achain from the hoist to the lower shaft.5.Remove four bolts (5) and the shims.6.Remove bolts (6), plate (7) and shaft (8) from thebracket. Remove bracket (9).7.Do Steps 5 and 6 to remove the bracket on theother side.4-146
